Banana: Add one mashed avocado to the mixture before freezing. Since the banana is naturally sweet, taste your mixture before adding in the sweetener.

FAQs

Q: Can I substitute sweetened condensed milk for another sweetener in ice cream?

A: Yes! You can use equal amounts of maple syrup, stevia, or white sugar in place of the sweetened condensed coconut milk. For a healthy alternative add in a few dates for natural sweetness.

Q: Can I make avocado ice cream with dairy?

A: Yes, you can make this recipe with heavy cream instead of coconut milk.

Q: Can I make multiple ice cream flavors at the same time?

A: Yes! After separating the base mixture into the two Ninja Creami pints, you can add whatever flavorings you like. Keep in mind that the additional flavors listed above are for a full batch, so half the recipe if making only one pint of a flavor.

Q: Can I make ice cream without an ice cream maker?

A: Yes. Place your bowl in the freezer to get it nice and cold before starting. Prepare your mixture as indicated in the recipe. Place the bowl back into the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove and blend with an immersion blender. Place back into the freezer and repeat the blending process every 30 minutes until desired consistency.
