Installation and Maintenance Crews ($20+ based on experience)

Growing Spaces Employee Installing a Growing Dome in Carbondale Colorado
Install in Carbondale, CO
  • Install Growing Domes in the field, under the direction of a supervisor
  • Fabricate and install planting beds inside Growing Dome
  • Perform landscaping and site preparation as required
  • Perform maintenance jobs
  • Seasonal position from April through November, perfect for Wolf Creek employees!

Requirements

  • Experience using a variety of power tools, especially power drills, circular saws, hammer drills
  • Must be willing and able to travel for up to one week at a time and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Must be willing to work on ladders and scaffolding, and obey safety procedures
  • Must have excellent, professional communication skills with the ability to communicate directly with customers
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent Growing Spaces’ brand while in the field
  • Ability to work independently as well as on team assignments
  • Ability to work in a productive and efficient manner, and get jobs completed on time with 100% quality
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Installation Supervisor positions are also available. Must have very strong construction experience.

Growing Dome Advisor / Inside Sales ($17+ based on experience)

Full-time position for someone with exceptional communication skills.

  • Answer questions about the benefits and challenges of the Growing Dome
  • Discuss greenhouse gardening best practices
  • Enter quotes in CRM and QuickBooks
  • Build strong customer relationships

Production Team Members ($17+ based on experience)

  • Fabricate lumber, polycarbonate, and custom vents to specifications
  • Metal fabrication and CNC experience also desired

HR Generalist-Office Admin ($18+ based on experience)

The HR Generalist’s primary role is to ensure that Growing Spaces is compliant with all State and Federal labor laws in addition to leading talent acquisition and managing both our safety and workers’ compensation programs. This role also has responsibilities to ensure that the office is running smoothly by managing the cleaning company and ensuring that employees have all necessary office supplies including bathroom and kitchen supplies. 

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; continually reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Updates the Employee Handbook and policies, when necessary, along with ensuring employee review and sign off.
  • Writes and publishes job postings, manage applications, perform initial screening and interviews for new staff before handing off to hiring manager.
  • Manages new hire onboarding such as, completion of required documents, ordering background checks and office equipment/supplies.
  • Manage the security system, granting access to new employees and removing access for employees who leave the organization.
  • Manages employee files.
  • Manages workers’ compensation policy and claims.
  • Manages safety program including quarterly safety meetings with managers, ensuring we are compliant with most recent OSHA laws.  Ensuring managers are providing safety training and set-up training as needed, i.e., first aid training.
  • Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Maintains historical records by filling documents, both physically and electronically.
  • Back-up front-desk so that we have front desk coverage during business hours.
  • Purchase office and cleaning supplies when needed.
  • Manage the cleaning crew.
  • Run errands when needed such as, picking up mail from the post office.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, is required.
  • College degree a plus!
