Is a community greenhouse a good fit for the program?

Start with what will happen inside the greenhouse on an ordinary week. A food bank may prioritize steady harvests and efficient crop care. A public garden may need room for workshops, while a nonprofit may combine growing with wellness or workforce training. Choose the primary job first. It will shape the beds, paths, work areas, calendar, and staffing.

Then name the people who will keep the program running. Decide who opens and closes the greenhouse, waters, watches crops and equipment, and steps in during holidays or staffing changes. Put those responsibilities in writing before the greenhouse opens.
