Lower Vent (with Bayliss) 33' Growing Dome

Support passive ventilation, welcome pollinators, and help supplemental cooling systems work more efficiently with a lower vent add-on for your 33′ Growing Dome.

The 33′ Growing Dome uses fan-based ventilation, and this optional lower vent creates an additional opportunity for fresh air intake near ground level. By allowing outside air to enter low in the dome, the vent supports passive airflow.

This lower vent can also make it easier for bees and other beneficial pollinators to enter your greenhouse. Better pollinator access supports flowering and fruiting plants, especially during the warmer months when crops are actively producing.

For domes using supplemental cooling systems, such as evaporative coolers, the lower vent helps improve air exchange. By increasing fresh air intake, it allows cooling systems to move air more effectively through the growing space and function more efficiently.

The Bayliss Hydraulicheck solar greenhouse vent opener opens automatically between 55–65°F. Its Hydraulicheck feature helps protect the vent from being jerked open by strong winds. Maximum opening distance: 12 inches.
