Growing Spaces Featured on Dakota News Now image

Wagner High School in South Dakota turned a growing dome into an outdoor classroom that's half science lab, half garden. Students are testing water quality in aquaponics tanks, planting fruits and vegetables, and working through chemistry, botany, and horticulture lessons in a space they can actually walk into. Photojournalist Dave Hauck filed a story on the program for Dakota News Now, with students talking about the skills they're carrying home from the dome.
