Social Sustainability

Growing Domes are uniquely suited to community-scale work, supporting social sustainability through projects that extend the dome's value far beyond a single household. This category brings together writing on domes used for community food access, school programs, addiction recovery and rehabilitation, refugee resettlement gardens, and other social-impact installations. Explore case studies, partnership stories, and the operational realities that shape successful community-scale dome projects, with content that highlights the people and programs making a difference through year-round greenhouse gardening.
