Promoting Positive Lifestyle Change

From Janice, (new decade)

In an effort to promote positive lifestyle changes, I want to tell you about a company I work for called Growing Spaces.  The staff here is very excited to share our passion about the importance of our product, the Growing Dome greenhouse.

Half of all American adults have a chronic illness according to the partnership of John Hopkins University-led initiative to improve care for Americans which chronic health conditions. Dr. Dean Ornish, with Preventative Medicine Research, claims that “three-quarters of the more than $2 trillion spent last year on health care, went to cover these conditions, among which is obesity. All of these can be prevented and reversed through diet.” (pp. 47 Ode November 2009)

It seems so obvious to me that we should be focusing on prevention as well as the cure.

I personally, had an experience of being diagnosed with a serious illness that turned me around. Only when something like that happens to you, do you truly appreciate quality of life. You identify the important things in life like how important family is.

My own healing came out of becoming more mindful of the quality of food I ate. I have such a passion in my being to help others make the world a better place. Mankind has a chance as we deal with problems in our time to treat one another with more respect and kindness. I have preferred animals (i.e. pets) over people most of my life, because they are so loving and innocent.

Peace on earth! Prayers for Haiti!

The mediums that I enjoy working with are yarn, canvas and paint, and clay. I have been experimenting with aquapoinics and am always excited to share knowledge on the subject with others. • This seems right on to me.
I turned on to a healthy diet in 1968, with the birth of my first child
I was a pure vegetarian for 7 years and have never been healthier
So much of our culture is out of balance and it is up to those of us who have discovered more healthy ways to model and share them wherever people are interested
    Blessings

  • A healthy diet will always be composed of high fiber frutis and veggies, low sugar, low carb and rich in protein.-‘.
